Martin Ling - CFO

Martin is an investor and chartered accountant with over 20 years of experience at senior and board level, both as an external financier and CFO/FD.

He has spent the whole of his career working in and with earlier-stage growth businesses and specialises in assisting management teams in the development and growth of their organisations.

Martin started his career with Virgin Direct (now Virgin Money) before co-founding a specialist debt fund, growing it to £100m assets under management and exiting it in 2018.

Since then, Martin has focused on advising and working at management team level with a portfolio of earlier stage businesses, the most recent being Breedr, an innovative software platform for the livestock agriculture sector where Martin designed, funded and helped launch a unique livestock cashflow product.
