Role Description
We are looking for a 5G RAN Engineer/Software Developer to join our team. We would like to hire the right person to join our journey so this could be your first role since graduating or you may have years of RF experience!
You must be willing to learn new things and work on a variety of systems from embedded to server-side.
Alongside the Principal Software Engineer, you will be looking after software development for our 5G router as well as back end supporting software.
Required Skills and Experience
Programming experience – Ideally in the C programming language or other low level programming language
Familiarity with Linux and common tools such as ssh, git, bash, make.
Desired Experience
Experience with Software defined ratio and/or digital signal processing
Experience with high performance/real-time software.
Embedded development experience – especially with embedded Linux
Familiarity with Linux networking
5G or 4G experience would be a huge plus
Salary Range: £25,000-40,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Hybrid based, will need to be in Farnborough initially up to 5 days a week, however flexible working possible and time in the office will vary depending on projects. May also require travel to other sites.
Reporting: This role will report to the Principal Software Engineer
