This role will be responsible for the electrical function of our engineering team. You will develop electrical hardware to run in-house software and develop of electrical systems from the ground up.
The role will also include electronics design, board design and manufacture, supporting the technical side of bids, building an electrical team and mentoring junior team members, and working closely with the software team to develop platforms.
We are looking for someone with a keen and genuine interest in the maritime sector and decarbonisation. You must have a passion to develop highly reliable products, great attention to detail, and enthusiasm.
Required Skills and Experience
Salary Range: £40-50k
Working Hours: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: Hybrid based with an expectation that there will be 3 days on average in the Farnborough office.
Reporting: This role will report to the Head of Engineering and be responsible for building and managing an electrical engineering team.
